Golen congregation — later Fintona

The printed Synod minutes state that Mr Glasgow was installed at Golen on 5 April 1732; congregational history identifies Golen as the congregation later known as Fintona.

The Synod minutes report that Nathaniel Glasgow died in April 1743. His ministry continued at Golen, later Fintona; the minutes do not state his burial place.

The 1745 Synod list names only the widow's surname. In context she is probably Nathaniel's widow, but neither her forename nor residence is stated.

Donaghcavey contains Fintona, Nathaniel's last congregation; the rare name place and delayed probate strongly identify the minister who died in 1743.

The plural wording proves at least two children. Their names, ages, guardian and residence are not given; context identifies the deceased minister as Nathaniel.
