Glasgow-1100, Glasgow-3598 and Glasgow-3186 remain compatible. Glasgow-1100’s father George was already directly proved by the 1633 burgess clause; this index is not a father upgrade. The printed Glasgow testament index records “Margaret, in Byris of Kilwinning” on 8 November 1636. This may be Glasgow-1100, who was baptised in 1610 and married by 1632, but the index gives no spouse, kin, occupation or link to Byris. The date is the index entry date, not a proved death date. Identity remains unresolved pending the underlying testament.
