Two existing Duddingston children are possible matches: John Glasgow, recorded born 4 April 1639 to John Glasgow and Margaret Sluman, and John Glasgow, recorded born 11 January 1638 to John Glasgow and Helen Patoune. The name, parish and chronology do not distinguish them. Do not create another Jon Glasgow or attach the burial to either child until the original OPR entry is transcribed.
