Biography

Richard of Glasgow was a monk of Arbroath Abbey. He is named among the community in a record dated 3 July 1312.[1]

The source gives no parentage or earlier history. His designation is a direct personal locative.

Research Notes

The shared forename does not identify him with Richard de Glasgu admitted to Dublin's merchant guild more than a century earlier.
