Mildred was born in 1913. She is the daughter of Samuel Allen and Mabel Glasgow.

The sudden death of Mrs. Mildred Glasgow, Crieve, Cookstown, which took place on Thursday morning, 21st October, at her son's home in Station Road, Magherafelt, came as a great shock not only to her husband and family but also to a very wide circle of relatives and friends.
Deceased was the eldest daughter of the late Samuel and Mable Allen Ballinasollus Cookstown.
Being of a gentle and kind disposition and ready to help, she was beloved by all who knew her. Her cheerful personality and ready smile made her a host of friends. As a devoted wife and mother she had a special love for her family and home and was never happier than when surrounded by them. During her lifetime at Crieve she was a
member of Claggan Presbyterian Church.
Her funeral took place from Starion Road, Magherafelt to the New Cemetery, Cookstown. 
The chief mourners were—:

*Mrs. Eileen Glasgow, Mrs. Joyce Glasgow, Mrs. Mary Glasgow (daughters-in-law);
*James Reid and George Glasgow (brothers-in-law);
*Mrs. Nina Allen and Mrs. Nellie Allen (sisters-in-law)
