Rare names, repeated bearers and bundles across otherwise distinct branches receive substantially more weight according to catalogue frequency. An exact migration place is weighted by its rarity and repetition across both branches; a shared destination country is worth only one point. Extra weight is added only when at least three independent clue types converge: naming, locality, specific migration, household chronology or collateral networks. Sparse profiles retain a clearly labelled chronology-only fallback instead of disappearing. He was the son of James Glasgow and Hannah Ferguson.
 This is confirmed by the Nephews named Ferguson and Creighton in his funeral mourner list - they are children of Hannah Ferguson's siblings. 
He lived at Ballynagilly as of 1888.

On 23 Oct 1888 at the Cookstown registry office, he married Bessie Crooks, daughter of Robert Crooks, Ballybriest. Witnessed by Rachel Mitchell and William J Allen.
