When John was due home, she would stop what she was doing and check her appearance, put on lipstick and welcome him home with supper on the table. She was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother that showed much love to her entire family as well as her friends. As a member of the Church of Christ, God was always part of her teachings. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Jo Britnell; sister Jo Kathren King and a host of family and friends; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Robert Horton; son, Billy Wade Horton; parents, Wade and Bertha Mae Glasgow. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Mt. Home Church from 10am – 11am with the funeral service following at 11am. Randy Hargett will officiate. Interment will be at Mt. Home Cemetery. Pallbearers are, Kenley Britnell, B.J. Horton, Caden Daniel, Dawson Daniel, Bailey Latham, Mark Latham and Adam Daniel. Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville assisted the family. Sources
