Glasgow-4031 represents John Glasgow of Drumgreenagh, County Armagh, farmer,
who was married to Jane Murphy and transacted Lislea property in 1786. He is
distinct from Glasgow-3439, who was born about 1794. No relationship to that
younger John or to Nathaniel Glasgow has been proved.

Registry of Deeds memorial, deed dated 13 February 1786 and registered 22 December 1792	John Glasgow of Drumgreenagh, farmer, was the husband of Jane Murphy, daughter of the late Thomas Murphy. A one-fifth share of Thomas's Lislea property had fallen to Jane. David Murphy assigned John 2 acres, 1 rood and 35 perches at Lislea for GBP25. William Henry and Nathaniel Glasgow of Drumgreenagh witnessed the transaction.	Direct evidence for John's residence, occupation, wife and land transaction; direct evidence for Jane's father. It states no children and no relationship between John and Nathaniel.
