Source findings — Currituck follow-up, 30 September 2026
The named public Deed Book 3 transcription adds Daniel Glasgoe in a Luke and Margaret White deed assignment, 5 January 1736/7, p. 45, acknowledged 5–6 July 1737. A separate deed dated 2 October 1736, registered 6 April 1737, pp. 63–64, describes a boundary adjoining Daniel Glasgow Junr. These are distinct property occurrences, not father clauses. Do not infer that the younger Daniel was William's brother or that Junior by itself proves father and son.

Identity and relationship assessments
The 1746 will does not name Daniel, Robert-1157, or any parent of William. The 1738 deed and 1712 witness record provide locality and chronology only. Do not upgrade William's father field or the Robert-1157 → Daniel-1158 edge from these records. The Robert Glascock/Glasgow discussion in the LegacyTree report is a tree/source lead and remains unproven.

William's father remains unknown in the inspected records. FamilySearch
sign-in resolved access to McIntosh's 1710–1753 volume (book 166084, identifier
115233, 343 pages). Its native full-text search for Glas returned five image
matches: 122 (the witness), 331 (the name index), 182 and 62 (glass objects),
and 187 (the city of Glasgow). Printed pages 122 and 331 were inspected;
the name index gives only the witness entry in its visible Glas-name sequence.
This is an index and text-search result, not a manual reading of every will.
No father clause was found. The earlier 1637–1710 volume supplies the known
Gamon in-law entry. Next inspect concrete deed or succession records linking
William's household to a specifically identified Daniel, rather than
assigning the unidentified 1729/30 witness to either Daniel profile.
The Princess Anne deed provides the next concrete property trail: inspect its
earlier conveyance recital at higher resolution and trace the named grantors.
Richard Linton also appears with Daneill Glasco in the 1729/30 Johnson will,
but that association alone does not prove identity or parentage. A Virginia
