Lizzie (Mitchell) Glasgow

Biography
Lizzie was born about 1866. She was the daughter of David Mitchell and Mary Moffatt, 
who lived at Drumlea, Bodoney Lower, County Tyrone.

On 1 June 1900 in Philadelphia, she married David Mitchell of Killycurragh, County Tyrone

She passed away 1 March 1926 at 200 East Wellens St, Philadelphia due to carcinoma of the esophagus, and was buried at Fernwood Cemetery.

Research Notes
The death record gave parents as David Mitchell and Mary Moffatt. Checking Familysearch shows a series of births to those parents at Drumlea, Bodoney Lower, Tyrone. They is probably connected to John Mitchell of Drumlea who shows up in association with my Bell/Crooks ancestors of Cookstown area, I will try to make this connection.

On the marriage record her husband gives her DOB as 26 June 1866, and his own as 1861 when he was in fact both 1870. 

There is no birth record on that date or anywhere near it to these parents; I suspect the more likely explanation is that she was born before 1864 (when civil registration of births started) and he had to radically change his birth date on the marriage record to make himself appear older.
