Sarah (Patterson) Glasgow

Biography
Sarah was born about 1790. She is the daughter of William C Patterson Jr and Agnes (Patton) Patterson.

Sally was named in the 1824 will of her father, William C Patterson (see his profile for a transcript of the will). Her father indicated that he had already gifted Sally and her husband, William Glasgow, all they were entitled.

On June 3, 1829, William Glasgow and his wife, Sally, sold 190 acres of land in Wythe County on Reed Creek to Stephen Sayers for $1,050.

Sally was also named as a legatee in the 1840 will of her mother, Agnes Patterson.

In 1850, William (62) and Sarah (60) Glasgow lived in Pulaski County, Virginia with their 23-year-old daughter, Louisa. William was employed as a laborer.
