Suggested update to the WikiTree profile

This study has prepared revised text for the public WikiTree profile. WikiTree editors can compare it with the current profile and copy it; the research account above is the study's own.

The spouse correction is complete. Replace Glasgow-2867 with the strong Glencorse candidate Glasgow-3011 in the father field of Christian-3492, John-3491 and James-2868 in controlled changes, retaining uncertain status and never leaving a father blank. Correct the biography's stale attached-wife sentence; retain the maritime evidence and all citations. Newspaper identity review 6 Oct 2026. Add sou Davidson-20783 now has only Glasgow-3011 as her uncertain husband. The three older children remain uncertain under the shipmaster pending controlled replacement with Glasgow-3011. [Findings](../research/Glasgow-2867/findings.md)

Compared with Glasgow-2867, captured 2026-09-27T03:22:58+00:00 · 2026-09-18. This amendment requires manual action in WikiTree; the comparison shows the saved biography and prepared replacement. Relationship, confidence and vital-field changes must be applied separately.

The 1739 entry does not prove continuity of vessel, ownership or registration through 1754, and it supplies no information about Robert's identity or family.
