Ann (Walker) Glasgow

Biography
Mrs. Ann, wife of Taylor W. Glasgow, esq., residing at the old homestead, near Bellwood, yesterday morning at 9 o'clock, at the advanced age of 84 years, 8 months and 17 days. She had been in feeble health for several years, and passed peacefully to the rest beyond. Her maiden name was Walker. She was born near Reading, PA., and spent part of her early years at the home that is now within the limits of the city of Altoona. Marrying in May, 1826, she and her now venerable husband, for over sixty years walked together in useful, honorable, wedded life. He, at the age of 90 years with three sons and three daughters survive her. The sons are James P. and Frank M. living near the old home and Wilson of Illinois. The daughters, Mrs. William Bush and Mrs. W.G. Riley of Bellwood with Miss Angeline, living with the parents. Funeral will be at 10 o'clock on Friday morning. Interment at Bellwood cemetery.
