1673

William Glasgow

Quothquan testament dative (CC14/5/9)

Record and source detail

All three original images were selectively reviewed on 10 September 2026. The estate includes livestock, crops, household possessions and clothing; no debts owed to the deceased are recorded, while debts owed by him are listed. George Brown and John Neilson occur in the administration, and William Neilson of Biggar is cautioner; these are not kin terms. No securely read spouse, parent, child or sibling clause was recovered.

1685

Jhone Glasgow

Quothquan resident; widow Jonet Kinnie?

Record and source detail

The testament names no child or parent. William Wilkie was procurator fiscal and William Watsone cautioner; neither is identified as kin. The 1608 Mid Calder identity remains uncertain; Glasgow-1086 redirects to this profile.

1685

Jonet Kinnie?

Widow and executrix dative surrogate of John Glasgow

Record and source detail

The widow relationship and first name are direct. The surname is provisionally read Kinnie and must not be normalised to Kinnear, Kinney or another form without clearer evidence; no child or parent is named.
