Biography

Margaret George Glasgow, eldest daughter of Benjamin Glasgow of Hull, formerly Drapersfield, Cookstown, married W. Brooke Broadbent, formerly Manchester, in New York on 5 October 1891.[1]

Research Notes

Birth, birthplace, death and mother are unknown. Her father’s identity belongs to the consolidated Drapersfield family draft, whose Robert father is known from the 1858 mill testimony. Existing-profile identification remains on HOLD. Wilhelmina Pike was Benjamin’s wife from 1864, but this notice does not establish her as Margaret’s mother. W. Brooke Broadbent’s forename is not expanded. The bounded local exact-name search returned no matching profile; external duplicate checking remains incomplete.
