HOLD — compatible profile linked — McCarnagh-4 represents Agnes, born about 1837 at Gortereghy, daughter of John McCarnagh and Mary Gormley in 1851. Agnes/Nancy and McCarnagh/McCaughern are compatible forms; an age of about 75 in 1912 is possible. No cited biography supplies a death or contradictory publican household. This is a weak compatible candidate, not proof of occupational identity.

Thomas Ross

HOLD — compatible profile linked — The original 1901 Gortereghy return describes Thomas Ross, 34, as farmer and flax miller, with Scotland-born wife Mary Jane and children. This strongly supports the 1912 mill-owner occurrence. The 1911 household reports 24 years of marriage. Ross-13124 remains compatible, with differing reported census ages. Ross-29596 has severe chronology tension if his cited 1874 birth is correct: he would be about 12 at marriage and 11 when Jeannie was born. The birth image returned HTTP 403, so this remains a conditional conflict rather than a fresh original-based exclusion. Ross-25888 has a separate Gransha/Ann Jane family; Ross-29600 is Robert T Ross, who died in 1909.
