Biography
William Glasgow was born in 1701 in Stevenston, Ayrshire, Scotland, and was christened the same year. His parents were John Glasgow and Agnas Spark. According to Elaine Comes on Wikitree, William had a brother named Hugh who married Janet Kilpatrick. They were sons of John Glasgow and Agnes Spark. Agnes Glasgow’s father was William Glasgow, and her mother was Margaret Montfodd/Montfort.

William’s mother, Agnes Glasgow, had three siblings: Grizell, Katherine, and Margaret Glasgow.
