Biography
David Harkley Glasgow was born 10 Dec 1891 at Killycurragh. He was the son of John R Glasgow and Rachael Mitchell.

In 1923 he married Hannah Glasgow.

In 1927 he attended the funeral of his wife's sister Martha Jane Glasgow (1902-1927).

Tragically, their only daughter May passed away age 10 in 1934 after catching an illness at school.

He passed away 15 Aug 1974 and is buried at Cookstown New Cemetery.

Deceased, who was in his 83rd year.

Research Notes
His name is clearly spelt "Harkley" on his birth record -- and his grandmother mother's maiden name is clearly spelt that way on his mother's birth record. Although the name is "Hartley" on his grandmother's marriage record, and in newspapers he is just referred to as "Hartley Glasgow".

He appears on the 1901 and 1911 censuses with parents.

Some ancestry.com public trees call him "John" , not clear what that is about.
