Biography
James was likely born before 1864. Based on no birth registration appearing in the civil registration, which began in 1864 and aged 73 at death 
He was the son of Silas Glasgow and Bella Loughlin, and likely born at Killycurragh as his later siblings were.
 He is cited as Son at his mother's funeral. 

On 25 Mar 1897 at Orritor Presbyterian, James Alexander Glasgow of Killycurragh, married Mary Jane Black of Corvanaghan, Kildress, daughter of James Black, farmer. Witnessed by Robert Loughlin and Edith Black.
