Biography
Allen was born 4 Dec 1884 at Killycurragh, County Tyrone. He was the son of Samuel Glasgow and Catherine Bole.

On 20 Jul 1910 at 2nd Cookstown Presbyterian, he married Margaret Glasgow of Belfast, daughter of Thomas James Glasgow, farmer. (Double first cousin)

By 1961 he had moved to Portstewart, and preferred the spelling Alan.

He appears as son-in-law at the funeral of Margaret's father, so this is definitely the correct marriage record. So Margaret was his double first cousin; in genetic terms very similar to a half-sibling.

There are Cookstown newspaper mentions for him up to 1942; perhaps that was about when he moved to Portstewart.

Doreen's obituary names sisters Gladys and Catherine.
