About Maria

This profile is a probable duplicate of Maria Glasgow (Glasgow-3928), born 22 September 1800 to John Glasgow (Glasgow-822) and Mary Arthur. Hiltner does not merely show two similar records: the same database person, I370, is attached both to John and Mary's family and to Alexander Wallace. The Wallace family was at Rasharkin by 1840–1842; their daughters Mary and Lavinia repeat the names of Maria's mother and uncommon-named sister. No inspected original names Maria Wallace's parents, but the current 1822 birth is an unsupported estimate rather than proof of a separate woman. The live WikiTree search found no third compatible Irish Maria Glasgow.
