Two Belfast News-Letter items were considered for this profile and withdrawn on 6 October 2026: an 1850 subscription by Master Benjamin Glasgow of Cookstown, who cannot be fixed among three compatible Cookstown Benjamins, and an 1870 report of Benjamin Glasgow of Drapersfield lending a field at Cookstown, who is firmly Benjamin Glasgow (Glasgow-4340). This profile, earlier a possible match for the 1870 man, is now judged unlikely.

Belfast News-Letter, 1850-06-28, p.2: no longer a candidate for this profile. Subscription list (Belfast News-Letter, 28 Jun 1850): 'Master Benjamin Glasgow of Cookstown' gave one shilling to the agricultural school. Three Cookstown Benjamins are compatible and none is proved; no relationships.
Belfast News-Letter, 1870-07-15, p.4: no longer a candidate for this profile. Report (Belfast News-Letter, 15 July 1870): Benjamin Glasgow Esq. of Drapersfield lent a field for the 12 July gathering at Cookstown. This is firmly Glasgow-4340. Benjamin-2059 (died Feb 1870) is excluded, and Glasgow-2566, the earlier possible, is unlikely.
