Newspaper evidence: career, family and identity
Margaret Jane, infant daughter of Rev. James Glasgow, missionary to Kattywar for the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, died at Rajkote, East Indies, on 11 June 1841, aged two months and 26 days. This agrees with Margaret Jane Glasgow-2898’s current death date and its 16 March birth chronology.
Strong matching name, father, place and date support Glasgow-2898 and her already attached father Glasgow-1780. The notice does not name her mother or birthplace. Mary Wightman-3457 remains a mother hypothesis for this child pending a direct record or documented family bridge; the already recorded father is corroborated, not a new uncertain-to-certain relationship upgrade.
