About Daniel
The GRONI civil-death register records Daniel Glasgow, a married weaver aged 50, dying 14 December 1867 at Culmore, Rasharkin, County Antrim (D/1868/31/1005/1/451). The image was inspected on 23 September 2026. Martha Glasgow was present at his death and signed by mark; the entry does not state her relationship, although she was probably his wife. Birth about 1817 remains an estimate from age. The 1868 index year is the registration year, and Ballymoney is the district, not the death address. Glasgow-4091, created from this same register entry, was merged into this older profile on 26 September 2026. The resulting profile retains the full-return details, distinct derivative indexes and the existing uncertain Martha attachment.

Still open
Questions the records have not yet answered, suggested next searches and suggested corrections.
Unresolved questions
- Establish Martha's relationship from a marriage or other independent record. The death entry alone does not name her as wife.
- Test whether the Daniel Glasgow at Gortereghy in Griffith's Valuation was this Culmore weaver; occupation and locality make this possible, not proved.
