Margaret (Bell) Glasgow

Biography
Margaret was born about 1840. She was the daughter of William Bell, farmer; and she lived at Ballynasollus, Kildress as of 1857. 

On 27 Aug 1857 at Orritor Presbyterian, Kildress, age 17, she married David Glasgow of Killycurragh, son of Thomas Glasgow.

As of 1901 they lived at Killycurragh with children Richard and Sarah Jane.

By 1911 they had become guardians of a child Agnes Ferguson (age 9).

She passed away 25 Jan 1921 at Drumnaglogh, Kildress, age 81, widow. Attended by Richard Glasgow, son. It seems likely she would have moved to where her son lived after her husband died in 1915.

She is buried at Cookstown Cemetery, plot OP/E/30.

Research Notes
There were two David Glasgow of Killycurragh of similar age. The 1901 census record is convincing though as Richard and Sarah Jane are born to David Glasgow of Killycurragh and Margaret Bell. Also see the shared burial plot.

Evidence from obituaries to support the parents being correct:
* Rachael Glasgow (1877-1909) has cousins G. Cahoon, A. Cahoon ; and Catherine (Bell) Cahoon (abt.1848-1931) has sons of those initials.
However we would like to find more than this. It is possible some may be cousins on the Glasgow side.
