Margaret (Glasgow) Percey

Biography
Margaret was the daughter of David Glasgow and Margaret Bell of Killycurragh, near Cookstown, County Tyrone.

In 1891 in Philadelphia, she married William Percey.

She passed away 2 April 1946 at Phiadelphia and is buried at Mt Moriah Cemetery.

Identifying her parents:
* The death record gives her parents as David and Margaret Glasgow. 
* Her husband's naturalization record says his wife was born Cookstown, Ireland.
* Sarah Jane Glasgow (abt.1883-) visits her sister Mrs. Percy in Philadelphia. Actually we have not 100% confirmed that record at time of writing although it is looking likely.

In US records her birth date is consistently given as 17 July ; often year 1869 but not always.

There are no Irish civil registration birth records for Margaret (or Unknown) to these parents. The civil registration opened in 1864. A likely explanation is that she was born before 1864 and gave a false age on immigration, and ran with it; this was common.
