Sarah Gardner, wife of Thomas Bowen, is probably the Sarah Gardiner christened at Holy Trinity, Coventry, on 12 March 1745 to Thomas Gardiner and Elizabeth. The same church recorded Thomas Gardner's marriage to Elisabeth Perkins on 12 April 1743. The parent links should remain uncertain because Sarah's 1764 marriage licence gives her age as 22, which is not fully consistent with a 1745 christening.
