James Garvin Glasgow

Biography
James Garvin Glasgow was born about 1851 at Lisnagaver, County Antrim,
Ireland. His family gravestone records that he died in 1918 aged sixty-seven,
and the 1901 census reported his age as forty-nine. James was the son of John Glasgow, a farmer, and
Margaret Garvin. His 1886 marriage names his father, while the

James married Eliza Ann Aiken on 1 July 1886 at Clough. He was a
full-age bachelor farmer of Lisnagaver; she was a full-age spinster and daughter
of William Aiken, farmer. Robert Aiken and Matilda Bell witnessed the
marriage. 

The family gravestone records their infant son John Garvin. James and Eliza
were the only people in their household in 1901, so the child had died before
that census.

James died at Lisnagaver on 14 February 1918 aged sixty-seven. He was a married
