Letitia McCormick (Glasgow) Brown

Biography
Letitia was born about 1828. She was the daughter of Samuel Glasgow and Ann McCormick 
 
of Gortin, Derryloran, County Tyrone.

She was Confirmed at Derryloran parish church in 1843, aged 15 years, resident of Gortin.

On 29 March 1855 at Derryloran parish church, she married Robert Samuel Brown, stonecutter of Crockatanty, Lower Bodoney, son of William Brown, farmer. Witnessed by John Ballantine and Thomas M. Glasgow .

They emigrated to Victoria, Australia with eldest daughter Mary Anne born there early in 1856. Later, they made their way to New Zealand.

She passed away 2 February 1919 age 90 at the residence of her daughter Mrs. Thompson, 82 Jervois Rd, Auckland; formerly of Thames and Morrinsville.

The first marriage witness might be John Ballantine (abt.1833-1902), of the same townland as her husband.
