- Freeman’s Journal and Daily Commercial Advertiser, 1847-09-02, p.4: Anne (bride (second daughter)) — probable match. The only Anne among Robertson-30564's daughters on WikiTree (her sisters are Jane, Mary and Charlotte). A birth of c.1805 fits a second daughter of a marriage made before 1821. She has no spouse on the profile, and the notice gives no age.
What the records show
Source findings — Montgreenan double-marriage notice, 5 October 2026
The original Freeman’s Journal and Daily Commercial Advertiser, 2 September 1847, p. 4 reports two weddings at Paisley on “the 25th ult” (25 August 1847 inferred). Anne is explicitly the second daughter of the late Robert Glasgow Esq.; Rev George Drake, son of Rev John Drake, rector of Stourton, married Charlotte Maria Cecilia, explicitly the youngest daughter of the late Robert Glasgow Esq. of Montgreenan, Ayr. The source explicitly gives Robert Glasgow as father of both brides; it does not name either mother. The match to this profile remains a separate, qualified assessment. See the shared documentary account.

Identity and family
Identity and relationship assessment
The profile-stated c.1805 birth is chronologically compatible with an August 1847 marriage, but is not established by this notice. The direct father statement concerns the documentary Anne; the current Robertson-30564 father field on Glasgow-3000 remains unknown/tree-only, formerly unmarked and with no evidence IDs. Retain that prior assessment; no profile-level relationship transition is made. The notice does not identify a mother.

'Anne, second daughter of the late Robert Glasgow, Esq.', in the same joint notice as her Montgreenan sister. The father is strong and Anne probable. (Freeman’s Journal and Daily Commercial Advertiser, 1847-09-02, p.4)
- Glasgow-3000 — spouse of — George Sherbrooke Airey (no profile yet): add confident (WikiTree now: not linked). 'George Sherbrooke Airey, Esq., Lieutenant in the Royal Navy, son of the late Lieutenant-General Sir George Airey, to Anne, second daughter of the late Robert Glasgow, Esq.', Paisley, 25 Aug 1847. The Airey profile must be created first. Downgrade to add_uncertain if a live check finds a competing Anne. (Freeman’s Journal and Daily Commercial Advertiser, 1847-09-02, p.4)
