Glasgow-804 (b. 11 Nov 1735 Ayr; d. 19 May 1788 Newberry SC) has a 1769 South Carolina passenger-list index entry, so he was in the colony in 1775: compatible, no bridge. Glasgow-1144 (b. 1731 Kilwaughter; d. c.1793 Newberry) has children born in County Antrim in 1772, 1773 and 1775 on his own profile, so he was most likely still in Ireland in August 1775 - unlikely (letters can await an expected immigrant, so not excluded). Glasgow-634 was in North Carolina (weak).
