Was the Hirmenschelis testator the son John named in the Glasgow burgh protocols?
The testament identifies John's children Katherine and a second child provisionally read Androw/Andrew. His widow's surname is probably Cochrane, not securely the surname on the attached profile. John died in March and was dead by 4 May 1577; he cannot be Ninian's brother living in 1613.
