The Glasgow High Kirk baptism of George, lawful son of John Glasgow and Jonet Mathie (Glasgow High Kirk Baptisms 1609–1777, vol. 2/436, 1627; FamilySearch VQHK-3WY), names George Glasgow and Alexander Simsoun. The transcription calls them "guardians"; they are presumably the baptismal witnesses. Seen as a transcription; original image not inspected. A George Glasgow also witnessed the 1619 baptism of John's son John (see Glasgow-1030), but neither entry says which George he was.

This George is distinct from George Glasgow (Glasgow-1560), christened at Linlithgow on 20 January 1622 to John "Glesgow" (FamilySearch X1RN-XVQ): different place, date and mother.
