marriage register. The record does not name James's mother, Adam's residence or
Adam's own parents. James's Inishrush residence makes this Adam an important
local collateral candidate for Alexander Glasgow-951, but no record yet proves
that Adam was Alexander's father or that he was Adam Glasgow-3902's son.

Overall conclusion
This is nevertheless a record-defined second Adam, not merely an invented name.
Target Adam Glasgow-3902 already had a gravestone-proved son James, born about
1794 and still living in 1878. The 1851 groom was a different James, born about
1812/13. It would be exceptionally implausible for the same father to have two
simultaneously living sons both named James. The 1851 groom's father should
therefore be represented separately from target Adam unless an original record
is shown to be wrong.
The present 1780, County Antrim birth is not documentary evidence. The live
profile describes the year as a guess, while the marriage establishes only that
Adam was old enough to father a child born about 1812/13. His attachment as a son
of Glasgow-3902 is chronologically coherent but remains unsupported.
The attachment is nevertheless the strongest of the proposed additional-son hypotheses for target Adam. Target Adam's 1831 Inishrush household contained three males, a coherent fit for elder Adam, his gravestone-proved son James and this younger Adam. Target Adam was the only Glasgow tithe occupier there in 1833, so an adult son could have lived or worked on the same holding without separate tithe liability; this Adam's proved son was later an Inishrush farmer. The fit is not unique and supplies no named relationship, so the edge must remain uncertain.
A final targeted public-web search for a death, will, probate abstract or
newspaper notice naming this Adam with either elder Adam or son James found no
new record. This is a bounded online negative, not evidence that no record once
existed. The unresolved originals are MIC1C/15, D2594/1 and D1062/1/5.
