Biography
Henry may have been born 6 March 1866. He was the son of Benjamin Glasgow and Jane Little.

He originally ran a family seed merchant business with his brother.

Henry along with his brother John started publishing a weekly paper in 1891, “The Mid Ulster Mail”, known as “The Mid”. Henry produced a series of articles in weekly instalments which have subsequently been published as “History of Cookstown” ISBN 978-1-873345-29-0, containing historical notes from the Mid Ulster Mail 1924-1926. They also produced local postcards and even some local directories.

At the time of the 1901 census, Henry (35), was living with his wife Maud (30), and his young son Benjamin (3). His occupation was described as a Newspaper Editor and Proprietor and Master Ptinter. http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Tyrone/Cookstown/Loy_St_/1728799/

Obituary Notes
His death took place at his residence, Milesworth Road, Cookstown. He was the third son of the late Benjamin Glasgow, educated at Cookstown Academy. He lunches the paper in 1891 aged 25 with his brother John. And was the editor from then to April 1949 when illness made him step aside. 
Surviving him are 
*his wife, the elder daughter of the late Mr. Nathaniel Stanton, of Ballyforlea; 
*two sons, Mr. B. G. L. Glasgow, Omagh, county surveyor of Tyrone, and Dr. J. S. Cookstown:
*his brother, Mr. John Glasgow, D.L.., chairman of of Tyrone County Council, with whom his entire business associations had been concerned; 
*also a niece and nephew, born in County Down, where their father, the Rev. W. G. Glasgow. died in 1918.
