William was born in 1868. He is the son of Benjamin Glasgow and Jane Little. He was a Presbyterian minister.

In 1911 William George Glasgow was living with his family in Tullinissky, Garvaghy, Co Down. William 42, was a Presbyterian Minister, his wife Margaret Isabella 39, and their children Jeanette Newton 13, Isabel Lillie 9, William Benjamin 4, together with their governess Agnes Elizabeth White and a domestic servant.
