The original of John Glasgow's Lanark testament dative and inventory (National Records of Scotland, Lanark Commissary Court, CC14/5/6, images 138–139; ScotlandsPeople wills; indexed 13 January 1662) was inspected in full on 10 September 2026 and re-read the same day. It concerns the late John Glasgow in Quodquen (Quothquan), Libberton parish, sheriffdom of Lanark, who died in 1661; the month is illegible. The giver-up in the executor-dative passage reads as Thomas Glasgow (moderate confidence); the words after his name, and his exact capacity, are unread. James Hamilton appears only as commissary of Lanark.

Both reviews rejected the earlier reading 'John Glasgow lawfull sone' at the head of image 139: no kinship word is legible there. The original therefore does not support the profile narrative's statement, noted above, that this testament names the younger John as lawful son and executor. It supplies no parent–child relationship and no identity bridge to Glasgow-3331 or Glasgow-1086; the reviewers keep the 1650, 1661/62 and 1685 Quothquan Johns as separate record-defined people. Grade: unresolved. This is not proof that Glasgow-3331 was not the deceased's son.
