Margaret is best placed as a possible daughter or niece of Ninian Glasgow (Glasgow-3188). Her husband William Hardie was a cordiner. Ninian's proved son Robert (Glasgow-1027) was also a cordiner, and Ninian's possible son William moved into Leith, where William's son was later apprenticed to a cordiner. This direct family trade/geography pattern materially strengthens the Edinburgh marriage cluster.

The same published Edinburgh marriage register, under Hardie (printed p. 307), lists William Hardie, cordiner, with Eupham Wauchope on 1 September 1608, Margaret Glasgow on 16 July 1611, Catharine Leslie on 27 August 1641 and Catharine Angus on 17 November 1643. The reverse entry for Eupham Wauchope (printed p. 724) agrees on the 1608 date and trade. These are four same-name, same-trade entries, not proof of one repeatedly married man. The later entries could belong to a younger namesake. No entry names Margaret's parent, child, death or widowhood.
Compare the original OPR entries, cordiner records and any Hardie testaments before using a later marriage as a death bound for Margaret or identifying William's relatives.
