Ann (Glasgow) McClelland (Glasgow-4092) was the wife of Andrew McClelland, carpenter, of Killyless, Craigs parish. Two independent Scottish civil records name "Ann Glasgow" as mother of Andrew McClelland (d. 1870 Bridgeton) and Robert McLelland (m. 1873); son Andrew's 1860 Craigs marriage names his father "Andrew McClelland, carpenter". The 1892 probate citation of Nancy-4070 lists "the children of Ann McClelland" among Nancy's heirs/next of kin. Birth c.1810 is an estimate; no own-event record found.

21 September 2026 — probate evidence audit. The civil-record parent statements for Andrew and Robert support this Ann Glasgow household. Identifying her with the citation's Ann McClelland and as Nancy's sister remains probable. No record names Ann's own parents. John Glasgow, farmer (Glasgow-4090), is conditional on her sharing a father with John-867; the citation does not distinguish full from half-siblings. The 1796 Desertoghill flax-recipient identity is separately unproved. No automatic parent change follows. Provenance: Nancy's saved 23 January 1892 citation, rechecked against its transcription; next test is the original probate petition/heir schedule plus Ann's own family records.
