James and Sarah/Sara Murray had four children recorded in the derivative Larne/Kilwaughter register chronology: Jean (1728), William (1730), Helen/Hellen (1732) and Christian (1740). No public record inspected in this pass identifies a spouse or child of Jean, Helen or Christian.
William is the only child with a credible later trail. The chronology identifies him as the probable William Glasgow who signed the Larne petition in 1772. A probate index then names William Glasgow of Larne in 1783, but it does not give an age or relatives and an older William was also living locally. The chronology also reports that James Glasgow, born about 1775, shared a St Cedma's stone with William born 1730. That is a genuine descendant lead, but the same page elsewhere assigns the stone to William born about 1708. Until the inscription is recovered, it does not prove whether James was William's son, grandson or another relative.
The four child profiles are therefore not empty because the relationships are weak; they are dead ends because the surviving public transcription stops at their births. The original register, the full 1783 probate material and the unrecovered memorial are the records capable of extending the line.
