Current conclusion

Agnes was the wife of John Logan, a trumpmaker at Stevenston, and died before
her testament dative was recorded on 4 March 1628. The testament-calendar entry
does not name either parent.

A 1932 published index to the Ayr Secretary's Register of Sasines also names
“Agnes Glasgow, spouse of John, in Milne-burne, Stenstoun,” under its `LOGAN
(LOGANE)` heading, with a recording date of 29 June 1601. This is probably the
same woman, given the spouse and locality, but the underlying sasine has not
been read. The heading supplies Logan/Logane, while the entry body says only
“John.” Keep the match unconfirmed and do not treat the 1601 registration date
as a birth, marriage or death date.

Her former profile attached [James Glasgow elder
(Glasgow-1168)](https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Glasgow-1168) as father and
[Margaret Smith (Smith-374110)](https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Smith-374110) as
mother. Margaret is attached as wife of James elder's son
[James Glasgow younger (Glasgow-3921)](https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Glasgow-3921),
not of James elder. No inspected record calls Agnes a daughter of any of these
people. Both parents have therefore been detached and left blank rather than
converting the cross-generation placement into another unproved relationship.

Neither her entry in that volume nor the volume's date coverage has been checked, and repeating the citation does not verify it. Treat CC9/7/22 as the candidate volume until the original entry is found on Scotland's People.
