The testament names a daughter Isobel by 1597/8; the marriage and baptism name Issobell/Isobell Glesgow in Edinburgh in 1619–20. The dates and Midlothian setting fit, and no better compatible Isobel has been found in the current pre-1600 catalogue review. Neither later record names Andrew, Elizat, Corsoun or a sibling, so this remains a '''probable identity''', not a directly documented continuity. The father relationship is confident for Andrew’s testament-named daughter represented by this merged profile; the later Edinburgh bride attribution remains probable. Elizat's maternity is independently uncertain even if the identification is correct.

The estimated 1597 birth year and Edinburgh birthplace are not birth-register facts. The testament establishes only that the daughter existed by Andrew's death; the Edinburgh records place the bride there as an adult. The Edinburgh register dates Issobell Glasgow's marriage entry with William
Symountoun, a tailor, to 10 June 1619. The exact ceremony date has not been
checked against the original OPR image. A son William was baptised there on
2 May 1620. Neither record names her parents. The live structured spouse
details now show an **approximate 10 June 1619 marriage in Edinburgh**, added
and verified on 27 September 2026 from the cited register and OPR index.

On 27 September 2026, the testament-daughter profile [[Glasgow-4097]] was
merged into this profile. Isobel's name, generation and Midlothian setting fit
the 1619 Edinburgh bride, and the reviewed pre-1600 catalogue has no better
compatible Isobel. This is a **probable identity**, not direct proof: the
marriage and baptism do not name Corsoun, Andrew or Elizat. Andrew's father
relationship is confident for the testament-named daughter represented by
this merged profile; her identity as the later bride remains probable.
Elizat's separately unproved maternity remains uncertain. The original testament and both OPR events
remain cited in its integrated biography.

The separate Edinburgh craft-marriage cluster around Ninian Glasgow's family
is a competing context, not a proved placement. Ninian's son Robert was a
