The source table and relationship list above (8 September 2026) follow an earlier model (machine) reading of John Glasgow's testament dative (NRS Edinburgh Commissary Court, CC8/8/5, images 276–277; published index, p. 109; entry dated 4 May 1577) that read the second child's name as Androw/Andrew. That reading is superseded. A human reading of the original register, m[ar]iory, modernised as Marjory, was accepted on 10 September 2026 (research/transcriptions/community-readings/john-1577.json) and is the reading now used for Marjorie Glasgow (Glasgow-3589) and in the 28 September 2026 cross-check on John Glasgow (Glasgow-3181).
The testament therefore names Katherine and Marjory as John's lawful children and executors-dative. Marjorie (Glasgow-3589) is the second child named with Katherine, and a probable full sibling; Margaret's maternity of either child stays unproved because the possessive before lauchfull barnis is unresolved. The testament supplies no son Andrew, so it gives no basis for testing Andrew Glasgow (Glasgow-3163) as Katherine's brother. The replacement draft Glasgow-3590.md still carries the Andrew reading and needs the same correction before any use.
