The printed Lanark testament index records "Glasgow, James, wobster in Quodquen" (weaver in Quothquan, Libberton parish) on 26 July 1624, and separately "Threipland, Margaret, relict of James Glesgow, in Quodquen" on 27 October 1626. Grant, The Commissariot Record of Lanark: Register of Testaments, 1595–1800 (1903), printed pp. 38 and 99 (p. 38, p. 99). Seen as a printed index; the originals have not been read.
Assessment: the index shows that a James Glasgow, weaver in Quothquan, was dead by 26 July 1624. Margaret Threipland is a possible widow only: the index does not show that the two Quothquan references are one man, so she should not be attached as his spouse without the original testaments.
