The attached William Glasgow (Glasgow-1098), about 1500, Glasgow and Isobel Brade (Brade-232), about 1500, Glasgow are now probable on strong circumstantial evidence, while the structured links must remain uncertain. Isobella bears her proposed mother's forename. More importantly, on 16 November 1564 her husband Archibald Herbisoune witnessed John Glasgow senior's sale of the exact fore tenement which John had entered only nineteen days earlier as heir of William Glasgow, explicitly his father.
