marriage register for [[Glasgow-4047|Eliza Glasgow]] directly names **Hugh
Glasgow, labourer and weaver**, as her father. Eliza was aged 21 and lived at
Liminary when she married William Montgomery on 21 August 1854.

The father-child relationship between Hugh and Eliza is therefore **confident**.
