Confirmed brother of John Glasgow (1751–c.1852); possible collateral to the Bann Valley cluster, not a proved child of Adam.

Kit B580327 shares R-FT20271 with several Glasgow paternal lines; kit 999763 is downstream at R-FTE32242 and closely identifies the Robert Glasgow-12 line. This proves a shared direct paternal ancestor but not the common man's identity or cousin degree.

The independent report grouped five Glasgow kits in one distinctive paternal cluster; the newer Big Y result supplies the more precise SNP relationship.

Newly integrated kits 959947 and 478604 expand the demonstrated paternal cluster; kit 1002232's documented pedigree reaches James J Glasgow-2738, whose father remains uncertain.

Robert's 1866 marriage names Alexander Glasgow, farmer, as his father.

The transcription names Alex Glasgow and Molly McAughern as his parents and gives Lisnagaver as their residence.

Sarah was a full-age spinster residing at Lisnagaver when she married Charles Taylor.

A researcher-supplied index transcription gives Lisnagaver and 1870. Because Thomas died there on 21 June 1870 and his wife was Mary Ann, the leading interpretation is Thomas's estate with his widow involved; the image headings and folio are needed to resolve their roles. This does not name Alexander or prove siblinghood.

Ann was a full-age spinster of Lisnagaver and named her father as Alexander Glasgow, labourer.
