On 27 September 2026 the record-defined Corsinkell son Glasgow-4061 was merged into this older profile as the leading identity for the John Glasgow recorded at Burrowland and Dalgarven in 1559–60. Fresh review of the official NRS catalogue and the surviving live biography confirms that this profile explicitly represents the Corsinkell son. James Glasgow elder is his confident father, directly stated in GD39/5/59 and saved/read back on WikiTree on 27 September. Identifying this record-defined John with the earlier Kilwinning occurrences remains probable, not certain; that event-attribution question does not make the deed's father-son statement uncertain. Agnes Wilson is a joint tenant in the teind list, not a proved wife. John was alive on 9 February 1571, and no death date or birthplace is documented.

Live profile rechecked 27 September 2026. James elder has replaced Robert as the structured father. The record-defined son profile Glasgow-4061, created on 30 August, merged into this survivor on 27 September. The live biography distinguishes the deed's direct father-son statement from the probable identification with the Kilwinning records. The structured father edge was upgraded to confident and read back after fresh review of the official father-son clause and profile scope. The earlier instruction to keep two profiles or merge them is resolved; no second John profile should be created from GD39/5/59.

The remaining test is a deed that joins Corsinkell to Burrowland or Dalgarven. Until then, the Kilwinning event attribution remains qualified. The 1571 father-son and brother relationships are directly documented for the Corsinkell identities and are assessed independently of those earlier events.

The 1559-60 transcription lists John at Burrowland and a joint holding of John Glasgow and Agnes Wilson at Dalgarven. It does not call Agnes his wife or prove that the two John occurrences were one man. Retain the spouse relationship only as uncertain unless another record states it.

WikiTree status and next identity test

Live profile rechecked **27 September 2026**. James elder has replaced Robert
as the structured father. The record-defined son profile [[Glasgow-4061]],
created on 30 August, merged into this survivor on 27 September. The live
biography distinguishes the deed's direct father-son statement from the
probable identification with the Kilwinning records. The structured father
edge was upgraded to **confident** and read back after fresh review of the
official father-son clause and profile scope. The earlier instruction to keep two profiles or
merge them is resolved; no second John profile should be created from GD39/5/59.

The remaining test is a deed that joins Corsinkell to Burrowland or Dalgarven.
Until then, the Kilwinning event attribution remains qualified. The 1571
father-son and brother relationships are directly documented for the
Corsinkell identities and are assessed independently of those earlier events.

The 1559-60 transcription lists John at Burrowland and a joint holding of John
Glasgow and Agnes Wilson at Dalgarven. It does not call Agnes his wife or prove
that the two John occurrences were one man. Retain the spouse relationship only
as uncertain unless another record states it.
