Do the Mid Calder and Inveresk baptisms belong to the same James?
Mid Calder indexes name father James in 1605, 1610 and 1616; Inveresk/Musselburgh indexes do so in 1609, 1614 and 1618. Andrew's testament does not name a son James, so it cannot establish this James's parentage. The attached children must not be split or moved on names alone.
